The Readiness

Today, this day, now. 

I am ready.

We leave everything behind.

We do not experience it, we no longer know.

So what we leave means nothing – it matters not.

But God knows the fall of every sparrow,

And we are in our Father’s care.

He holds our lives, our loves, our everything –

Everything of yesterday, tomorrow and today.
